Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Neo Zino, an individual operating as a sole proprietor under the trade name “ClockedCode” (“ClockedCode”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit clockedcode.com (the “Site”) and use our products and members area (the “Service”).
We respect your privacy and collect as little personal data as we can to run the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller of the personal data described below.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide to us.
- Email address. When you sign in, we use your email address to send a one-time login code and to identify your account. (There is no password.)
- Your settings and content in the members area. This includes your tool selections and any customizations you make (for example, edits to the CLAUDE.md template), and any posts, comments, votes, or feedback you submit to the feedback board.
- Communications. If you email us for support, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
b) Payment information. Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. You enter your payment details directly with Polar on their hosted checkout — we never receive or store your full payment card details. After a successful purchase, we receive from Polar a confirmation that includes your email address, an order identifier, and your payment status, which we store to unlock and maintain your access.
c) Information collected automatically.Like virtually all websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically process limited technical data needed to deliver and secure the Service — such as your IP address, browser and device type, and request logs. We use an essential, server-set session cookie to keep you signed in (see Section 3). We do not run analytics, advertising, session-recording, or behavioral-tracking tools.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- authenticate you and keep you signed in;
- process your purchase, confirm payment, and unlock your access;
- respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
- operate the feedback board and improve the product based on feedback and usage;
- maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in across pages. It is strictly necessary for the Service to function — without it, you could not stay logged in — so it does not require consent under applicable cookie rules.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers or pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block the essential session cookie you will not be able to sign in.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you purchased, authenticate you, and process payment.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law, including tax and accounting requirements.
- Consent — where we ask for it; you may withdraw consent at any time.
5. How We Share Information (Sub-processors)
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with the service providers we rely on to run the Service, and only as needed:
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and login emails | Email address, account ID, your settings/content, payment status |
| Polar | Payment processing (Merchant of Record) and tax handling | Email address and payment details you enter at checkout, order data |
| Vercel | Website and application hosting / delivery | Technical request data and server logs (e.g. IP address) |
| Google Fonts | Serving the website's fonts | Your browser's IP address when fonts load |
Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own data-processing and privacy terms. We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you of any change in control of your data).
6. International Data Transfers
We and our sub-processors may store and process your personal information in countries other than where you live, including the United States and other locations where our providers operate. These countries may have different data-protection laws than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.
7. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account exists or as long as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Records of purchases are typically retained for the period required by applicable tax law. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Section 8).
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- access the personal data we hold about you, and request a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability — receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@clockedcode.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of “sales” or “sharing” — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reliance on reputable infrastructure providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since it is used to sign in.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Service references and links to third-party tools and websites that we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before using them; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
